What we all really believe

If you've seen the movie Bull Durham, Kevin Costner gives a speech on what he believes.......If you're like me it's quite simple

I belive in personal responsibility.

I believe in American Exceptionalism.

I believe that most people in Washington are clueless.

I believe in charity, not forced redistribution.

I am socially moderate, fically conservative.

I believe in term limits....2 terms for Senators, 5 for Representatives.

I believe that it's better that one learns to fish, rather than expect to be fed fish.

Put another way, handouts breed dependance

Abortion is a choice....I choose life, make your choice.

It saddens me at just how uninformed so many people are on so many issues.

I believe in Free Market Capitalism

I think those that recieve public assistance should be subject to random drug tests and should attend classes on budgeting.

No free lunches with 50 inch flatscreen from Rent a Center on the wall.

I'm much more concerned about the issue of illegal immigration than I am gay maraige.

Let me now your thougts.....I'd like to add to my list....I will as thoughts come to me. I wanted to get this out there, because I am looking for "citizen2012". It could be me, it could be you, but someone needs to emerge as the voice of the silent Majority.
